What! The long holiday weekend is over? The great news is we have a new episode of the Columbus! Something New podcast for you to listen to! Jessica has a ton of events for you to check out this week and weekend in Columbus...check out the links below for more information.

Burke and I went to the Franklin Park Conservatory's Merry & Bright exhibit during an evening with extended hours. This was an absolute highlight of the weekend! Peaceful and beautiful, it was absolute perfection and I say 'great job' to the staff of the conservatory who planned and prepped for this exhibit. Pros: no wait to park, free parking, no big crowd, leisurely stroll through the gardens- both indoor and outdoor, carolers, a beautiful display of glass art by Dale Chihuly. Cons: Exhibit ends January 1, so be sure to get there before then! And check out their evenings with extended hours, too!

We met up with Jessica and Jason in the Short North Arts District for Small Business Saturday. Philco Bar + Diner had the pleasure of experiencing the four of us, and we are happy it did! This was the first time any of us had eaten there, and it was perfect, frankly. The atmosphere was great for having a conversation, the food was yummy, service was kind, and I don't think we ran anyone out of the diner with our over-the-top conversations! From there, we stopped by Robert Mason Co. to browse (Burke picked out a gift for his dad), and we then went to GLEAN so I could get some gifts for my company's holiday exchange!
